Out of the blue, Michael developed vertigo and in response to this, he developed occipital neuralgia, a condition characterized by severe pain in the upper neck, back of the head, or behind the ears. After putting up with it for years, and failing to get benefit from common treatments, he turned to Dr. Kaufman and underwent nerve decompression for occipital neuralgia.
