The Institute for Advanced Reconstruction only treats AVN (pre-collapse) in the hip and ankle regions. To qualify for treatment, patients must be:
- 14 years of age or older (females)
- 16 years of age or older (males)
- Diagnosed with AVN (stage 1 or 2)
If you have a history of sickle cell disease or other blood disorders, you may not be eligible for AVN treatment.
