    Shaping the Future of Training: Dr. Alex Xu Reflects on the New PGY-1 Year in Urology

    Published in Current Urology Reports, this review by Alex J. Xu, MD, and colleagues examines the ACGME's changes to the first year of urology residency training and discusses the benefits and challenges these changes present for training programs. Drawing on the experience of other surgical subspecialties, the article considers how earlier exposure to urology-specific skills may better prepare the next generation of surgeons.
