Before visiting The Institute for Advanced Reconstruction, you must have a diagnosis of occipital neuralgia from your neurologist or primary care physician. We should not be the first place you go to seek treatment for headaches.
To be eligible for treatment, you:
- Must have a BMI of 30 or less
- Must be 75 years of age or younger
You will need an MRI of the head to rule out any other conditions or tumors.
