Rukmini Rednam

Rukmini “Vinaya” Rednam, MD

Dr. Rukmini Rednam is a board certified plastic surgeon in The Woodlands and Houston, TX area. Dr. Rukmini Rednam was accepted into the highly competitive Conley Scholars Program at the University of Missouri-Columbia earning her a position in the combined baccalaureate-medical school program.

During her time there, she earned a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences and graduated from Cum Laude from the Honors College. During medical school at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, she received her Doctorate of Medicine and graduated in the top 25% of her class. She went on to complete the competitive six year integrated plastic and reconstructive surgery training program at the University of Kentucky under the direction of Henry C. Vasconez, MD. During her residency she received a Resident Teaching Award and worked on numerous research projects.

After completion of her plastic surgery training, Dr. Rednam spent an additional year at the University of Florida completing a Fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery. During that time she was able to refine her technique in cosmetic and body contouring procedures.
