She completed her plastic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital—one of the nation’s top programs—where she developed advanced expertise in complex reconstructive techniques.

Dr. Kaplan’s practice encompasses a broad spectrum of reconstructive procedures, including breast reconstruction after mastectomy, flap surgery, and the treatment of post-surgical wounds. With a foundation in both surgical precision and artistic vision—shaped by her early training in graphic design—she brings a keen eye for detail and balance to every case.
