- Have a diagnosis of elevated diaphragm or injured phrenic nerve resulting from trauma, COVID, surgery, and more
- Be 65 years of age or younger — patients older than 65 will be sent for screening and, depending on the results, clinical review
- Have a BMI of 30 or less

Eligibility for Phrenic Nerve Treatment
At The Institute for Advanced Reconstruction, we treat patients with phrenic nerve injuries due to various causes. In order to qualify for treatment, patients must:
