Cell Division, the all-surgeon band consisting of Drs. Elkwood, Kaufman, Rose, and Weisswasser were featured in a recent article in the American College of Surgeons Bulletin, along with several other all-surgeon bands. The common theme of the article, aside from each group consisting of surgeons: rock ‘n roll is the genre of choice. Cell Division helps the doctors connect with the community and helps patients see the doctors not just as surgeons with diplomas but as people.
