Back Pain

Back Pain

When back pain becomes chronic and unresponsive to rest, therapy, or medication, it may involve underlying nerve irritation. Our physicians offer targeted, image-guided treatments—such as nerve ablation and spinal modulation—to reduce inflammation and calm overactive nerves, especially when surgery isn’t preferred or appropriate.

Hand & Upper Extremity

Hand & Upper Extremity

Problems with the upper extremities can cause functional impairments and chronic pain, which can significantly impact quality of life. We offer advanced treatments, such as nerve transfers and targeted muscle reinnervation (TMR), to help patients regain functionality in their shoulders, elbows, wrists, and hands. Our patient-centered approach to treatment allows us to deliver superb outcomes.

Joint Injections

Joint Injections

Not all joint pain is orthopedic. When nerve inflammation is the underlying cause, our physicians use targeted injections to treat the affected nerve pathways—reducing pain, restoring motion, and avoiding unnecessary surgery.

Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression (MILD)

Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression (MILD)

For patients with lumbar spinal stenosis, the MILD® procedure offers a safe, outpatient alternative to surgery. Through a tiny incision, our specialists remove excess ligament tissue that compresses spinal nerves—helping patients stand, walk, and move with less pain and greater freedom.

Pain Management

Pain Management

Our pain management program takes a comprehensive approach to treatment, combining surgical and non-surgical methods. With a focus on physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) services, our pain management specialists help patients manage neck pain, back pain, pelvic pain, phantom limb pain, and more.

Pelvic Pain

Pelvic Pain

Chronic pelvic pain can affect every part of life—from walking to intimacy. Our specialists identify nerve-related causes of pelvic pain and offer nonsurgical, image-guided treatments designed to calm irritated nerves and restore comfort. For patients who've exhausted traditional therapies, this approach offers renewed hope and relief.

Peripheral Nerve Blocks & Hydro Dissection

Peripheral Nerve Blocks & Hydro Dissection

For nerves that are inflamed, compressed, or entrapped, these procedures offer both relief and diagnostic clarity. Our specialists use real-time imaging to deliver precise treatments that separate and decompress irritated nerves—often reducing pain in a single visit.

Peripheral Nerve Stimulation

Peripheral Nerve Stimulation

Peripheral nerve stimulation delivers targeted relief for localized nerve pain—such as in the abdomen, limbs, or pelvic region. Our specialists use ultrasound-guided techniques to place tiny electrodes near the affected nerve, calming overactivity and reducing chronic pain with minimal recovery time.

Post-Mastectomy Pain Syndrome

Post-Mastectomy Pain Syndrome

After a mastectomy, nerve pain can occur in the chest, armpit, shoulder, and/or arm. While pain after breast surgery is common, pain that persists for longer than three months may indicate post-mastectomy pain syndrome, or PMPS. We’re pleased to offer a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses pain with nerve surgery as well as reconstruction to minimize tissue deformities.

Spinal Cord Injury

Spinal Cord Injury

Spinal cord injuries can result in loss of sensation, movement, or the ability to breathe unassisted. We perform surgical procedures that can restore a patient’s sense of independence and freedom, including phrenic nerve surgery to help patients breathe without a ventilator and nerve grafting with flap surgery to restore sensation to the hip and buttock areas in paraplegics with recurrent pressure sores.
