Mary Klucznik couldn’t breathe.
“It was a constant shortness of breath and caused a lot of anxiety. You just can’t get that full breath, so I was tired a lot. You don’t sleep well, and I had to sleep almost propped up. I couldn’t swim at all because of the pressure on my chest. Your whole daily life is changed,” said Klucznik, 62, of Syracuse.
Her search for relief would lead her to an Upstate-trained doctor who is uniquely qualified to treat her.
